Drs. de Wijn

Robert de Wijn (1982) studied medicine in Utrecht, spending two six-month periods with South African trauma surgery departments in Johannesburg and Cape Town. He then completed his specialisation in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery at the Academic Medical Centre Amsterdam, Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis Beverwijk and NKI/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. During this training he passed the European examinations for plastic surgery (EBOPRAS) and hand surgery (FESSH).

  Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NVEPC)

  Dutch Society for Hand Surgery (NVVH)

  European Wrist Arthroscopy Society (EWAS).

  After completing his training he undertook a fellowship through Erasmus Medical Centre and worked as a staff plastic surgeon at OLVG and AMC.

  From 2016 to 2017 he lived in Sydney to work at an internationally renowned clinic and gain experience in the latest developments in cosmetic surgery.
