Drs. Nolst Trenité

Gilean Nolst Trenité studied medicine at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam. He then specialised from 2010 to 2016 in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic and hand surgery at the University Medical Centre Utrecht and St. Antonius Hospital. After his training he worked at Meander Medical Centre, where he further developed his skills in both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

Drs. Nolst Trenité has particular expertise in aesthetic and functional surgery of the face (facelift, eyelid corrections), with a specific subspecialisation in nasal surgery (rhinoplasty), for which he completed an additional fellowship. His approach is characterised by a strong focus on facial balance, anatomical precision, functional preservation and long-term stability of results.

In addition to facial surgery, he actively performs body contouring procedures, including abdominal wall and breast corrections. His working method is analytical and structured: careful indication-setting, realistic expectation management and technically refined execution are central. The aim is not only an aesthetic result, but a proportionate and natural outcome that suits the individual.

He is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and a member of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NVEPC) and the Dutch Society of Plastic Surgery (NVPC).

His research has included orbital reconstructions at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle (USA) and specific suturing techniques in nasal surgery.

In his free time, Gilean Nolst Trenité is an active nature photographer. His attention to light, proportion and composition reflects his professional conviction that aesthetics is not about change in itself, but about balance.
