Dr. Booij

After completing her medical degree at the University of Groningen, Klaske Booij moved to Amsterdam and trained in general surgery there from 2008 to 2012. She has published several scientific articles and obtained her PhD in June 2018. From 2012 to 2016 she completed her specialisation in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery at AMC Amsterdam, Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (Netherlands Cancer Institute), Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis Beverwijk and Spaarne Gasthuis Haarlem. She also completed an additional cosmetic and post-bariatric surgery placement at Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven.

   Since 2016 she has been a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). She has attended the Body Contouring Surgery Course given by the renowned Dr Jean-François Pascal in Lyon and regularly completes additional courses to remain fully up to date. Her other passions include her family, travel and photography.
