A consultation fee of €100,- applies. These costs will be deducted from the final price of the treatment should you decide to proceed at Blooming Plastische Chirurgie.

Anaesthesia and treatment duration

A filler treatment is performed with or without local anaesthesia, depending on the zone to be treated. The treatment takes an average of 15 to 60 minutes. Prior to the treatment the specialist will give you an accurate estimate of the expected duration.

Preparation and marking

Before the treatment begins the specialist carefully marks the zones to be treated. This ensures precise execution and the most natural result possible, in harmony with your face.

The treatment

With a fine needle the filler is injected at specific points in the skin to add volume, fill wrinkles or refine contours. The results are visible immediately after the treatment. The effect of a filler treatment with hyaluronic acid lasts an average of 9 months to 2 years, depending on the filler used, the treated zone and your individual metabolism.

After the treatment

After the filler treatment you can go home almost immediately. Our team will provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions so that you are well prepared to go home.

Immediately after the treatment

After the filler treatment you can go home and resume your daily activities almost immediately. We advise you not to do intensive exercise or physical exertion for the first 24 to 48 hours after the treatment and to avoid large temperature differences such as a sauna visit.

Swelling and pain

After the treatment the treated area may feel slightly swollen, red or sensitive. This is a normal reaction and usually subsides within 2 to 5 days. With lip fillers the swelling may last a little longer. For pain you may take paracetamol on the advice of your specialist.

Result and repeat treatment

The results of a filler treatment are visible immediately, but the definitive result can only be assessed once the swelling has completely subsided. Depending on the filler used and the treated zone, the treatment can be repeated after 9 months to 2 years to maintain the result.

Important notes

We advise against a filler treatment during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Please inform us in advance if you use blood thinners or are hypersensitive to components of the filler.
