A broad education and international experience
Robert studied medicine in Utrecht and gained experience in trauma surgery in Johannesburg and Cape Town during his studies. He completed his specialisation at, among other places, the AMC and the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital. During that period he passed the examinations for European certification in both plastic surgery and hand surgery.
His passion for the field also took him to Sydney, where he deepened his knowledge of cosmetic surgery. That international experience is a valuable complement to his Dutch training.
