A Fresh Look

A fresh, rested appearance is one of the most common goals patients bring to our clinic. Tired eyes, drooping eyelids, and deep expression lines can make you look older and more fatigued than you feel. At Blooming, we offer a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments to help restore a more youthful, energised appearance. In this article, we explore the options available — from eyelid correction and Botox to filler and brow lifting — and help you understand which approach is best suited to your specific concerns and goals.

Those little wrinkles beside the eyes, also known as 'crow's feet', are caused by repeated contraction of the muscles around the eye. We tend to notice them more in summer. The bright sunlight causes us to squint more often and more forcefully. In addition to the wrinkles caused by squinting, the muscular tension can also create a tired and heavy feeling around the eyes. By treating the muscle near the eyes with Bocouture (also known under the brand name Botox®), the muscle relaxes and squinting becomes a thing of the past. A Bocouture treatment is carried out by our plastic surgeons. Knowledge of the anatomy of the face is of great importance for the correct dosage and injection of the product. The treatment is generally not experienced as painful, and the risk of bruising is minimal. After a few days, the effect of the Bocouture (also known under the brand name Botox®) becomes visible, and after a week you will experience the optimal result. The result lasts between 3 and 6 months. It is advisable to repeat the treatment to maintain the optimal result. Treatment of crow's feet starts from €225.
